Fern Falls is a spectacular highlight on one of RMNP's best hikes. The trail to the falls is a beautiful journey through a lush, green forest that was shaped by wildfire and floods. The destination is a magnificent waterfall that plunges down a wide rock face, creating a cool, misty oasis. It’s a fantastic destination in its own right and a wonderful stop on the way to the even more stunning Fern Lake.
