The Abyss Trail (#603) is a spectacular journey from start to finish. Beginning on Guanella Pass Scenic Byway, the trail follows a lush creek valley, gradually climbing from enchanting pine forests into the wide-open expanse of the alpine tundra. Along the way, you'll be treated to incredible scenery, abundant wildflowers, and the potential to spot wildlife before reaching the magnificent Abyss Lake.
